The Haynes International Motor Museum

The Haynes International Motor Museum near Yeovil has over 400 cars and motorcycles and claims to be the largest of its kind in the UK. The museum is a charitable trust and part of the company that brought you the famous Haynes Manuals.

The museum opened in 1985 and restores and maintains many types of vehicles. All vehicles are kept in working order and are driven at least once a year. The collection ranges from old British favourites to American Cadillacs, along with some very rare vehicles.

The history of motoring is well documented and visitors can walk through ten halls packed with a wide variety of automobiles. There are also military vehicles on display, a gift shop, a café, and vintage arcade games, making it an enjoyable visit for all the family.
