Camden Market
Camden Market as it is referred to is actually Camden Markets since there is more than one market present here. Located near Camden Town in London the Camden Market is a major tourist destination and famous for its craft shops, clothing, souvenirs and food.
The market attracts around 100,000 people every weekend. It is one of the most popular attractions in London. The main market areas are Camden Lock Market, the historic Stables Market, Buck Street Market, Camden Lock Village, Electric Ballroom and Inverness Street Market. Chain stores are not welcome at Camden Market and it is a thriving and vibrant community of independent traders.
The atmosphere of Camden Market is something that is unique. The busy main streets surrounding the market are a hive of activity. Old pubs and clubs keep the area busy at night so this is very much a 24 hour, seven days a week entertainment centre with shopping that favours the traditional crafts and unique innovative clothing that you would be hard pushed to find elsewhere. This is how markets were meant to be. This is what markets are all about. A truly exhiliarating experience.
